Why we exist

Preparing the foundation for the next generation is our major aim.
THE NEED-FOUNDATION is a non-profit and charity entity with a vision of developing a movement to provide opportunities for the
future leaders. THE NEED-FOUNDATION was foundedin
September 9, 2020, in Monrovia,Montserrado County –Republic of Liberia.
The organization was founded by William M. Moiyan, and it is
working on establishing and promoting future leaders.
Duringhis time in high schoolas student and even up to date while in the classroom serving as teacher, he noticedthat thousands of youth in Liberia are actually ignorance to schoolingor lacking quality educational knowledge.
And this is because most young people are not under parental care. Some actually want to attend school, but no financial support. After he has successfully graduated from high school under the sponsorship of his uncle Mr. Thomas K. Menyen Sr, he planned to establish an organization that will help the less fortunate achieve a successful future.
And from there, he establish this organization called “The New Era
Enlighteners & Developmental Foundation” (THE NEED-
FOUNDATION).

THE NEED-FOUNDATION is developing a movement to provide
opportunities for the future leaders through Education, Sports,
Entertainment, and Agricultural (Edu – SEA) activities.
We develop innovative, youth-driven solutions to empower the needy
mostly (the youth) to become fruitful and useful in their communities
and beyond.

Our Vision

Our vision is to develop a movement to provide opportunities for the
future leaders.
We visualize this generation where well-knowledgeable and
passionate youths are connected and positioned to make changes
across Liberia and the world at large. We believe that we are on the
face of the earth to make great harvests. We are persistently focusing
on transformation and creativities. We believe in the simple not the
complex. And honestly, we don’t settle for anything less than
excellence in THE NEED-FOUNDATION, and we have the selfhonesty to admit when we’re incorrect and the courage to change.

lives. Provide educative programs to enable them create impact in the
